May in Malawi

I think I managed to do quite a lot in my May visit!

Both new school blocks are up and running and in full use. (Such full use that the floor in one of them has worn badly in places... The contractor has valiantly offered to re-do it without charge, and I was told last week that it is now looking much better.) It's good to see the school expanding to meet the number of students it's accommodating.

And I bought the materials for block 3, and commissioned the contractor to start work on that while I was there. We're upgrading the spec a bit to make sure the floor and walls withstand the ravages of small children (!) so this one will cost a little more, but it will be worth it.
